The SBTG x Limited Edt. x ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Monsoon Patrol” is a three way collaboration between the streetwear brand, Singapore based sneaker boutique, and the heritage footwear brand. This contemporary rendition of the GEL-Lyte III features many noticeable and unique design traits, including a removable lace shield featuring “Monsoon Patrol” text. A toggle adjusts the tightness of the highlighter yellow and black rope laces. Hairy grey suede overlay patches are layered over the quilted nylon base for a distinctly modern look. On the back, co-branding efforts add to the militaristic aesthetic of the shoe. Release date: January 19, 2021.
